Acceptable Use Policy

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our hosting or panel services for any illegal, malicious, or harmful activity, including but not limited to:

• Spamming, phishing, or sending unsolicited bulk email

• Distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious code

• Hacking, port-scanning, or attempting unauthorized access to our network or any other user’s account

• Engaging in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks or other disruptive network activities

• Infringing upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties

2. Resource Usage

All customers share the underlying hardware and network. You must not:

• Overconsume CPU, RAM, disk I/O, or bandwidth in a way that degrades performance for other users

• Run resource-intensive tasks (e.g. cryptocurrency mining, mass video transcoding) on shared plans

• Bypass any system limits or “fair-use” controls we put in place

We monitor usage continuously; if your activities threaten overall stability or fairness, we may throttle, suspend, or terminate your account.

3. Content Restrictions

You’re responsible for any content you upload, store, or serve. Do not host or publish:

• Defamatory, obscene, harassing, or hateful material

• Content that violates export controls, sanctions, or other applicable laws

• Copyrighted text, images, video, audio, or software unless you hold all necessary rights or licenses

We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content that violates this policy or is the subject of intellectual-property complaints.

4. Security Measures

To protect your site and ours, you agree to:

• Keep all server-side software (OS, web apps, plugins) up to date with security patches

• Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication where available

• Regularly back up your own data—our retention is limited to seven (7) days

• Never attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in our infrastructure or other customers’ services

5. Reporting Violations

If you discover abuse, security flaws, or policy violations, please notify us immediately at:

Include as much detail as possible (timestamps, IPs, error messages, screenshots) so we can investigate and remediate quickly.

6. Consequences of Violation

Depending on severity, we may take one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:

1. Issue a written warning and require remediation

2. Temporarily suspend the offending services without refund

3. Permanently terminate your account and delete data (no refund)

4. Cooperate with law-enforcement requests or legal proceedings

7. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Acceptable Use Policy at any time for legal, technical, or business reasons.

• Notification: Significant updates will be posted at https://store.sammys.app/legal/acceptable-use-policy  and, where appropriate, emailed to active customers.

• Your Responsibility: It is your duty to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our services after changes constitute acceptance of the new terms.
